Background
Inca, a Sweden-based company, sought a reliable production partner in Vietnam to manufacture an innovative new product — the Wildfire Net, the first of its kind in the global market. The project was of strategic importance, as the company’s CEO had recently decided to discontinue all traditional fire protection products. This meant the Wildfire Net would become Inca’s flagship innovation, demanding a local partner willing to engage in extensive trial-and-error development to bring this pioneering concept to life while maintaining strict quality and compliance standards

Challenge

The technical challenge lay in developing a machine capable of evenly coating an extremely thin and delicate net — only 2 mm in diameter with 1 x 1 cm holes. While many suppliers initially claimed they could handle the process, it quickly became clear that the technique required advanced precision and considerable experimentation.

The repeated trials, adjustments, and uncertainty tested the endurance and commitment of the local manufacturing partner, making continuous coordination and motivation essential.​

As the lead consultant, Lien Pham played a pivotal role in ensuring the project’s success by:
